Experimental drivers to run Orinoco cards in AP mode <a href="http://www.hunz.org/hermesap.html">here</a>.
According to the website:

"HermesAP is a package that provides driver-patches and other tools to use Accesspoint (BSS master) mode with Hermes/Orinoco cards under Linux. The code is very _EXPERIMENTAL_ ;-) yet. So don't be surprised if it doesn't work (properly) or even crash your kernel."
