Defcon, /., releases dr Abaddon (who wrote Airjack), Anton Rager (who wrote WEPCrack, IKECrack, and WEPWedgie), H1kari (who wrote BSD Airtools), Joshua Wright (who does SANS speaking and wireless research) and myself will be giving a panel at DefCon 11 about protocol attacks against 802.11, WEP, detecting them, and general wireless with questions (and maybe even answers). Fun should be had by all. Currently scheduled for friday night, but keep an eye on the defcon schedule if you're interested just to make sure nothing gets rescheduled. We got a minor slashdotting again from the apple section. Hi, Apple people. I hear there are rfmon-able drivers for osx for pcmcia cards. If someone gets me info on these I'll see what can be done about supporting them. Most of the major core changes I wanted for -devel are in place, expect something of a feature freeze and concentrating on polish in an attempt to get a new stable out in the next few weeks. Now is the time to do some heavy testing of devel if you want to help out.
