I've built the latest Kismet, and the Dedected plugin and Com-on-air driver (I have the type III card). I did the make node to create /dev/coa, which shows up on ls -l /dev. Kismet launches, but the console output says "Unable to open /dev/coa". Closing the console ahows the Dedected client plugin headings but never shows any stations.
I'm running under a 2 or 3 year old Suse installation (vmlinuz-2.6.18.8) and I'm wondering if I need a later kernel. Or is there something else silly I've forgotten?
