Hi friends,
I am new to kismet and previously i use to use libpcap to sniff data.
As I saw the documentation, kismet provides many features that are difficult to deploy using libpcap. I have three questions, hope somebody can answer me.
1) I want to install around 5 kismet drones and one kismet server that will sniff data from same channel, without channel hopping. How, can I synchronize all the drones using kismet. Is, that feasible, or I have to use some other protocol instead of kismet doing that.
2) Is there some way to remove duplicates from the sniffed data from multiple drones, with the help of kismet or do I have to use editcap.
3) Kismet produce a dump file that can be used by ethereal. How can my application use that. This is very important because using tcpdump to convert it to text file is very long process and I want to sniff data for minimum of 5 days to maximum of 1 month.
